Richard Phillimore is from Devon, England. His father was a bank manager and was moved from branch to branch as he advanced in his career, which meant a lot of house moves for the family.
The constant moving set a pattern which has been central to Richard’s life to the present day. He followed his father into the bank, and after 25 years being fast-tracked through a range of roles, he worked at high levels in Brussels and New York.
He then spent time working in India before coming to Russia five years ago.
Richard now works for a Russian company in Moscow, is married to a Russian and loves to play golf when he can.
