Nick Rees is from Swansea, Wales, in the UK. In his youth, he represented Wales in squash and football at schools level.
On leaving school, he went to work as an apprentice in an accountancy firm and from there he went to work as an administration clerk before doing a couple of years in a car parts business. It was here that he realised his talent for sales.
Nick left Swansea when he was about 19 and went to Tenerife where he worked in the holiday business. He first came out to Russia almost 18 years ago and has been here ever since.
He now heads up the Russian division of an international recruitment company. He is an avid Swansea City football supporter and co-founder of the Expat Football League here in Moscow (see: www.moscowfootball.com).
