Anna Giulia Scrufari Hedges is from Tuscany, Italy. Her father is Italian and her mother American and she has one brother and sister.
She has travelled a lot from a very young age. Her father has a great love of opera and Anna Giulia grew up with a strong affection for the performing arts. But when it came to making study choices, the suggestion was concentrate on Russian as a language of the future and she is currently a student of Russian and Business Management at University College London and out here in Russia on her year abroad.
She arrived in September 2011, and has been here since studying, working as an intern at a TV station, acting, teaching and tasting the best of what Moscow has to offer.
